Counseling Corner
Students, families, and staff members work together to make our school an exciting place to learn.
It's great to see so much involvement in creating a safe and caring environment for educating the whole child. In the area of counseling, we have cross-curricular career and character education to insure that our students are directed toward leading responsible, satisfying, and fulfilling lives.
Mission Statement
Our mission ensures that all students attain the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary in academic, college and career, and executive functioning. School counselors use data to identify and close attainment, opportunity and achievement gaps ensuring all students have equitable access to a quality education. We work to advocate for all students’ success, utilizing a developmentally appropriate multi-tiered approach to maximize student potential, to ensure long term excellence in student achievement, and preparing students to be lifelong learners and successful members of our community.
Vision Statement
Cynthia Heights graduates will successfully complete their K-12 education to their maximum potential with academic and executive functioning skills that prepare them to demonstrate excellence as college graduates and/or in their careers.
